Namche Okon was born in London, raised in New Caledonia (South-Pacific) but received education mainly in Germany.

 

In 2001 he began his studies in directing and in cinematography at the University of Film and Television Munich.

 

Since 2007 he is working as a DoP.

 

His recent works include LUNA (feature, directed by K.Kaissar), AMSTERDAM UNDERCOVER  (directed by P.Ladkani) and

THE THIRD KING (winner of 2 cinematography awards, directed by Christoph Strunck )

 

He has also been working as a 2nd unit DP for HONIG IM KOPF (DP:M.Schlecht) and as an operator for EDDIE THE EAGLE

(DP:G.Richmond).
